Rye Tweed Collar
Our Boldly British Collection was born from our love & support of British manufacturing. Featuring 100% British Wool & J & FJ Baker Leather (Britains only remaining traditional oak barn tannery)
Your tweed collar will be hand cut & pressed before being machine stitched around a webbing core for strength. Next your leather strap is hand cut, stamped & burnished creating smooth seamless edges & adjustable holes. Finally we hand stitch your strap to the tweed using a traditional saddle stitch.
Each collar is individually handmade in house in Cheshire, tailored to your dogs neck size.
To purchase simply enter your dogs neck size and advise if you would like your leather left its natural Tan colour (we apply a protective balm as standard) or treated with oil. Treating with oil will help soften the leather & protect from water, however this will also change the colour of your leather to a rich mid brown.
If your tweed collar gets dirty it can be left to dry and then gently brushed clean. If you do need to wash it, make sure to handwash only avoiding soaking the leather, leave to air dry. We apply balm to all our leather straps when they leave but they do benefit from the application of a leather care balm from time to time ususally when the leather has got wet and dried.
